James R. Powell
A native of Mississippi, James R. Powell began his career as an atist in the early nineties, holding one-man exhibits and selling his work to private collectors.
In 1999, he worked for Peavey Electronics where he painted guitars for such popular musicians as Eddie Van Halen, Sheryl Crow, and Alex Lifeson.
In 2008, he collaborated with best-selling author Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Coraline, American Gods, the Graveyard Book) on a project called 'Grey People'.
JP is also a poet, lyricist, vocalist/keyboardist, and has recorded with the progressive rock/alternative band Stir of Echoes.
